The plans below show a harbour in 2000 and how it looks today. 
Summarise the information by selecting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
 



The plans show how a harbour has changed since 2000. Overall, although the harbour has retained all the features, it has become more commercialized and tourist- oriented with areas for private yachts and fishing boats being interchanged, and the tourist and leisure facilities have also been expanded.

In 2000, there was an area for private yachts with showers and toilets and a parking lot near it in the north-west of the port area, which were linked to the main road. There was also a separate area for fishing boats and a parking space near it in the south-west. There used to be a public beach and a dock for passenger ferries in the north, and an abandoned castle in the south-west of the harbour.

At present, the area used for the recreational boats in the north-west is now being used by fishing boats, while the area for private boats has replaced the fishing boat area in the south-west, and an additional block with showers and toilets has also been constructed above the parking lot for the private yachts. In terms of leisure facilities, another dock has been built to the left of the old dock for visitors using the passenger ferries. In addition, some stores and cafes have also been established next to the lifeboat station. As for tourism-related developments, the deserted fortress in the south- west of the map has been converted into a hotel for visitors, and the waterfront near the historic site, which was open to the public, is now reserved for hotel guests only.
